Answer:
Shock loss usually occurs in the first three or four weeks after a hair transplant. Basic shock loss does not need to be treated. The hair will still grow back in and the follicles will usually be preserved. The best way to prevent it is to keep up good nutrition, follow your postoperative orders and not smoke during the perioperative period. It is also important not to overdue the transplant and try and do too many hairs at one time.
