Question:
I had a transplant procedure 2 months ago, and some of the transplanted hairs have yet to fall out. Will this interfere with the growth of the new hairs?
Answer:
Not at all. In around 5% of patients, some of the transplanted hairs do not fall out in that first 3 to 4 weeks, rather continuing to grow. This is not a bad thing, and will not impact on the final success of the procedure.
