Question:
Is there any difference in a hair transplant procedure between races. I am an African American but I have only seen results of transplants in Caucasians. Would results on me be similar?
Answer:
The results on African Americans from hair transplants are excellent. The hair takes very well and you can place it in just as naturally as Caucasian hair. We have many patients of both Asian and African American descent who have absolutely excellent results from hair transplant work. Again, the results are just as long lasting, just as natural and will be fine.
