Question:
If a patient travels for a hair transplant, how long do they need to stay?
Answer:
Almost 70% of our patients actually travel or fly in from other states and countries to have their procedure in our Miami office with Dr. Epstein. We typically recommend a patient at the minimum will fly in the night before the procedure, come in the morning of their procedure for the procedure, go back to a hotel or wherever they might be staying that evening after the procedure, come back the next morning for a hair wash and a check-up and then can typically fly out that same afternoon. The total stay at a minimum is typically two nights, although of course patients are welcome to stay much longer for any follow-up that they feel might be necessary.
