Question:
I have some hair loss around my ears as a result of my facelift surgery. Is this something that can be improved with a hair transplant and how would it be done?
Answer:
This is an excellent problem which hair transplant surgery can deal with. Many women who have had problems around both the sideburns and behind the ears from previous facelift work can have the area completely camouflaged by having hair transplanted into the scar in the area. In our office, many women who have scars and bad problems related to a previous surgery like a facelift have correction done with hair transplant work. The area both in front of the ear and behind the ear can be made to look perfectly natural with hair transplant work over the previously problematic area.
