Testimonials from Women Hair Loss Patients

Hi Dr Epstein,

I am happy to report I’m doing very well and healing up quickly. I sincerely thank you and your team for surpassing my expectations. I know it’s been written many times in the testimonials but it’s worth saying again, you have an incredibly dedicated team working at the Miami office.

I faithfully promise to post a glowing testimonial in the coming weeks to express my gratitude.

I want to say a special thanks to Danny!!

Warm Regards,

Colin

Hi Dr Epstein!

Just wanted to send a quick note, in case you don't remember me you did my eyebrows back in october in New York. My eyebrows are growing in very nicely. They acually didn't really fall out only a few of them did.. I am very happy and it has only been about 2.5 months... I am hoping to get to New York again soon so I will have to pop in for a visit to show you my progress! I hope your enjoying the new year thus far... Take care

Thanks,
Jill

Hi Jeff
I hope all is well. I wanted to thank you for your the incredible job you did for me 2 years ago. As you recall I was referred to you by my brother who came down to Miami.I saW you in NYC at your offices on 54th.

I have a haircutter for 20 years who has seen the incredible job you did. He has an enormous clientelle of both men and women. He owns Yossi Salon on 71st between Madison and Fifth. He says your work is superior to the work he has seen done by any other NYC hair transplant surgeon.
His name Yossi Levy.
Yossi is a great artist himself, and a great friend. He also can be a great source of future referrals.
Fondly

Dear Dr. Epstein:

It was nice seeing you and your staff earlier this week.

On my trip back home, I noticed that you were featured as among The Top Doctors in America in the Air Tran in-flight Go Magazine January 2012. I took the liberty of including a couple copies of the particular page as well as the cover, not knowing if you were aware of it or not.

I know from my own personal experience that the honor is well-deserved and I continue to be very pleased with my outcome.

Good luck and continued success

Sincerely,
Glenn Schulman

Dear Dr. Epstein and Roxy,

You did a great job on my hairline. I am hoping to come back to fill in the scar with transplants. I live in Canada and would fly in again. You did a flawless job last time. I hope you are having nice Holidays!

Hi Ed.

Here is my feedback:
I had an eyebrow transplant performed by Dr. Epstein. The procedure was meticulously performed. The support staff was quick to respond. I am very pleased with the service and the results. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Epstein for his skills and professionalism to anyone.

Best,
A.

Hey Jon!

I really appreciate the email!  I am now waiting for the eybrows to heal, fall out (unfortunately) and start regrowing.  I have to tell you how friendly, professional, and buttoned up your "crew" is! Dr. Epstein has such an incredible "bedside manner" and made me feel so comfortable the entire time I was there, which was about 5 hours. I felt very at ease and not at all nervous with him, probably because of his warmth and more importantly, his obvious expert capability for performing these transplants. The way your staff works together is incredibly synchronized and I was so impressed by the manner in which they worked with one another.  Which leads me to Elsa, who basically nurtured and tortured :*) me through the entire day and was amazing at answering all my questions, performing the transplant together with Dr. Epstein and once again, incredibly warm and capable.  So, all of that said, we did some video taping, joking, and I even got lunch on the house…the most important thing to me, however, is looking in the mirror (which happens a bit) and seeing the most beautifully shaped and full eyebrows that are now mine!  You were so very truthful in our consulation when you said Dr. Epstein is the best choice, hands down, for this procedure, and, man, were you right!!!  You guys ROCK!! I'll see you next year when I pop in to show you my new brows!!!!

Thanks again for everything from all of you.

Gratefully!!!!
Sarah

Dear Dr.Epstein,

I want to tell you and your staff that you are an inspiring surgeon. The fact that you have studied and worked hard to improve people's self esteem is inspiring. I respect and admire you're hard work and expertise and am thankful for the time and work you have done on me.

Happy Holidays!

Hello Dr. Epstein!

It's been almost a year since I last visited you. Things are great. The eyebrows are so fantastic! You're a miracle worker.

Many thanks!
Danielle

Good Morning, Ed!!

I am well. Per usual, the procedure went well and I am very appreciative of the excellent work of Dr E., George, Carlos and all the dissecting divas. You guys are the BEST.

Thus, all is on track and I eagerly look forward to seeing the results in the coming months.

I will keep you posted.

Warmest regards,

Dr N.

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know How greatful I am to you for truly changing my life today, I finally feel confident in the way I look With my new eyebrows! My whole experience was above and beyond. Your staff was wonderful and caring. Elsa was fantastic And I really felt at home in your office. I hope to see our video, and I already have someone who wants her brows done and naturally I recomended you! I look forward to seeing you again someday. So thank you again, really I don't think you will ever understand how my life has changed today...

Jill G

Hi Jon,

Thank you for your email. My eyebrows are doing well. It's great to have them again! I can't begin to to tell you what a difference this has made for me, and the staff made me feel so comfortable. This was something I never considered, but was so glad I came to Dr Epstein. I would recommend him without any reservation. Thank you again.

Gail

*Patient had eyebrow transplant

Hi Ed,

All is well and I'm really enjoying my new eyebrows!! Some are falling out now but it's been great to have them! Please convey to Dr. Epstein that they are beautifully shaped and I've been receiving many compliments. The best was that none of my family members even noticed the eyebrows until I reminded them that I just had them done, which speaks to the very natural line and shape that was formed by D.E. I was shocked that they didn't notice, because they were all anxious to see me with the new brows. My parents and sister indicated that the new brows look very much like my original eyebrows, which I can't remember.

I felt well cared for during the procedure, and all went well. The office staff is lovely.

Thanks for writing, and my best to you, too.
Audrey

* Patient 2 weeks after eyebrow transplant

Hi Ed:

I am very happy with the results of the surgery. Thank you for asking. He knows why and you too. Today I had an appointment for check-up but I am getting ready to go to Colombia for 20 days so I had to cancel.

But I want him to see the change after the surgery and have his opinion as well.

I re-scheduled the appointment for October 6th.

Thanks,
Gloria

Hi I'm Samuel j g and I did hair implant to my eyebrows about 6 months ago and I want to thank dr jeffrey and his team of professionals. I'm interested in doing a little fix in my nose soon and I know I can count with Dr Jeffrey. Thankyou

Hi Dan,

I thought the procedure went really well. I am feeling perfectly fine. Thanks to you, Dr.Epstein and all his team for the great job you did. Everyone has been very patient and efficient. I already recommended one of my friends to Dr. Epstein. He should be contacting you soon. I haven't told him i got a procedure done. So, please do not disclose that information to anybody. But i did tell him how great the doctor and his team are :)

Midhula

You guys are so awesome! Looking forward to my appointment to recap (no pun intended) with Dr E before scheduling my next procedures. Thanks for everything and for being so fabulous!

Best,
Alison

Hi Jeffrey

Thanks for responding so kindly. Sending photos

The scar of course healed very well. No signs at all.

As I said. My testimonial can be very clear that all went well and you all have been great

Maybe you remember i had another one 5 years before with dr p in San francisco That transplant team just wasn't up to your work, compassion and follow through. The difference in yield tho was significant. Even tho the numbers were the same

It is all about my age I am sure I so wish I had started the transplants earlier in my life. That would be a great testimonial phrase I believe

Rather than extensions etc that I paid a lot for at 39 and early 40's.
I SO wish I had given the money to you!!

This one was 8 months after menopause. I think it clearly made a difference in the quality of the follicles.

All that said. When I send more photos you will see the magic I can perform! Just started adding toppix and with the transplanted hairs, even tho few. I am sure the toppix has more to stick too.

Off to yoga and then 12 days before flying to Morocco to see my son

Hope you and your children are well

Warmest regards
Sharon

Dear Dr E

First. We are off to Morocco to see my son Max in two weeks. He is using the Rx religiously and finding it helpful

I would always be a testimonial for how wonderfully kind and professionally you all were to me. And how to fund the patience and satisfaction with some healthy transplanted hair always better than none. Especially knowing more of my own is always being lost

Also after 2 transplant I am the testimonial poster person fir starting early in life. My only regret is I didn't start the process until I was in my 50's

Healthy thicker hair transplantation is a dream come true.

Warmest regards
Sharon

I had a eyebrow transplant because I had radiation therapy and haven't had eyebrows for 10 or 11 years now. I absolutely enjoyed the technicians that worked on me – they were kind, they talked to me the entire time, I absolutely loved having lunch with them. Dr. Epstein came right in and said hello, he talked to me when I was a little groggy, he sat down and he said, "Let's put some more in." He wanted me to have the best experience that I possibly could and I'm very thankful for that. It's amazing, I think I have fuller eyebrows than I did before the procedure!

Jeffrey, I wanted to thank you for the excellent care I received!

Special thanks to Linda and Carlos too! Linda is a very conscientious, hardworking employee and Carlos has this talent of making the patient feel very comfortable. Together they make a great team and are an asset to your practice. Please convey my appreciation to them.

I am extremely pleased with your work. Thanks!

P.S. Dan replied to me and said that I should wait another week from now before I can blow dry my hair or use a curling iron. Maybe this could be added to your postop instructions too
Rekha

hi,dr E.

its been 10 months since my procedure and i am happy to report that results are MUCH better that i expected it looks great

i also had no shock loss as you promised.thanks a million

hope all is well with you i would recommend you without reservation( not that you need it]

thanks again
laura

Dear Jeff,

I just wanted to thank you for all your teaching, mentorship and guidance during my fellowship and residency. You have truly been a motivation for my career path.

I will be leaving back to LA on Friday and will be joining an ENT group in Glendale / La Canada / Pasadena as I start my facial plastics practice (and hair of course!).

Thanks again for allowing me to join you in your clinic and OR, it was one of the best parts of my fellowship.

Best,
Michael

Hi Dan,

My procedure went absolutely well!!! You guys did exceed my expectations. I believe the Doc brought it down lower than he originally thought he could (without the expander) . The incision area is still swollen but other than that I am ok :)

Hello Dan,

Apologies for the delay in replying to you. I have been sleeping off my jet lag following my whirlwind trip to Miami:)

I am SOOO delighted with the results of my surgery and would like you to please relay my sincere thanks to all the team at Dr. Epstein's practice.

I would like to also apologize to Dr. Epstein and Linda for my 'fussing' over the shape of my eyebrow transplants following surgery. I am getting married next year and want to my eyes to look as close to my original eyebrows as possible.

In fact they look BETTER!!! Dr. Epstein is a genius!! And I can't thank him enough. Please also thank Linda for her patience with me and my perfectionism and all the hours she worked on giving me precisely what I wanted.

The team have truly changed my life!! I no longer have to worry about my eyebrows looking fake in the warm weather nor spend so long doing my make-up and trying to achieve a 'natural' look. I definitely have eyebrows now!! They are BEAUTIFUL:

That's it folks! I'll shut up now...ha ha! Again, thank you to all the team. You have truly changed my life.

To Linda: I have taken ur advice about my scalp and am wearing my hair curly and used a conditioning treatment this morning. I had been using too many permanent hair colours on it which was why it was so red and flaky, plus the constant straightening didn't help. I also told my fiancé what I had done in Miami when he picked me up from the airport. He was quite shocked but said he thought I was beautiful either way and as long as I am happy he is happy. Hooray for love!! A special thank you to you Linda. You never once made me feel bad for being so fussy and looking in the mirror a hundred times to make sure everything was ok. I should have trusted your expertise, which I did!! However, eyebrow paranoia is a terrible curse!! Thank you for making me look natural again. You are an angel:)

Dr. Epstein: I wish you every success in your career as a surgeon. Long may you continue to help people with hair loss. I want to tell the whole world about you!! You showed me nothing but kindness and patience and made me feel so very special from the moment I stepped into your office. You are a true master of your profession and gave me exactly what I wanted...the old me back:) From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.

Also, many thanks to Peggy (with the fabulous, lustrous dark locks) to Cynthia for comforting me and chatting with me during my procedure when I was so scared. Also, a big thank you to all the ladies who helped prepare my hair for surgery. And to you, Dan and Susie for all your help in making this possible. You are all truly amazing...AMAZING!!! God bless you all!!

Gill xxxx

I was a teenager in the 80's and tweezing your eyebrows was the thing to do. After countless years of doing this I was left with very little eyebrow hair. Looking for a quick fix I went and had permanent cosmetics done leaving me with a very hard and unnatural look. Trying to find away to fix the damage that I had done I found Dr. Epstein and Jon who truely made a difference. I was looking for a way to cover up the horrible tattoos and eyebrow hair transplant seemed like great option. Through a lot of online research and thought I made the trip to Miami for my procedure. I have never been treated so well in a doctors office. Everyone was so professional and friendly. The best experience ever. I'm so happy with my results so far, and it hasn't even been a year yet. I have to say a big Thank You to Dr.Epstein and his staff for everything. You are all so welcoming, caring and friendly. Also Jon- You are the BEST in your quick response to my emails and letting me know everything that I needed to know about my procedure. You have kept in touch making sure everything was going great, and I appreciate that a lot. I have felt a great concern for my well being from everyone at Dr. Epsteins office. I can't wait for the next few months to see even more growth. I'm super excited and very, very happy with my results....so far. Thanks Again to All of You!!!!!

Cindy H

Hello Jeff...You did a fantastic job with my brows etc 2 years ago at your Miami location. They are still looking great but will need a touch-up and reason to come to Miami!!

You still look stylish as usual!! Hope the business is going well! I tell friend in Dallas and OKC about you whenever I can!!

Take Care! Marie B :).

Dear Dr Epstein,

I am writing to express my thanks for the excellent surgery you performed. The procedure was indeed painless and your support staff were wonderfully supportive throughout.

I would even so far as to say that I would look forward to visiting with you again.

With kind regards

Anthony T

Hi Dan,

It was nice putting a face to the voice. I must say that I was extremly happy with all of Dr. Epstein's employees. They have great personalities and seem to be a great asset to his company. After tons of research and finally choosing him for his expertise I felt even more at ease when I saw a magazine page voting him #1 in america at the airport on my way to you.

Sincerely,

Brandy C

Hi Roxy

I hope everything is going well. I wanted to thank you for taking care of me. It was a great experience. I am in recuperation now, my nose and hair look great. Still swollen but I am sure the end result will be amazing!!

Roxy, I have an appointment with Dr. Epstein on Thursday at 2 pm to take out the stitches. One of my good friends will take me there. She is also interested in doing the same procedure I had. She would like to know if you and the Dr would have time to see her Thursday and discuss the procedure with her, since she will be there waiting for me.

Please let me know.

I told someone today I had hair transplants a year ago, and their jaw just about hit the floor as they started picking through my hairline trying to find any evidence. They didn't find a thing of course and accused me of lying to them. I just laughed, and once again was very happy I had it done. :) BTW, all of my ID's now reflect female. I'm really curious to see what you all think having not seen me since I started transition. ;) On a few TS support forums, I have a log of patients of Dr. Epstein that I started that shows the results over time. Not a single dissatisfied customer. :)

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Casey H

Dear Jeff,

Thank you for your e-mail.

You can be proud of your superb results, and the patients are thankful because I send them to you.

Jeff, keep up the good work

Sincerely yours,
Marcelo Gandelman

Dr. Epstein,

I want to thank you for everything that you have done for me. I am recovering nicely and I hope to have a wonderful result.

I also want to thank your wonderful staff who helped me a lot on the day of surgery. Sorry that I don't remember their names, but their faces are in my mind. I want to express my thanks to all, especially the lady who placed the grafts with whom I had a nice conversation about films, the lady who came with me to the taxi and made sure I was safe, the lady who packed dinner for me, and to everyone there who made by hair transplant journey go smooth.

I hope to see you again during my next visit.

Thank you,
Sini

Dear Roxy and Dr.Epstein,

I have made my appointment to have my sutures and stitches removed by Dr.Ellis next Thursday which is 9-10 days after my procedure. Is this ok? I don't want them out too early.

Dr.Epstein far exceeded my expectations on what a surgeon can do. He is highly skilled, patient, and amazing at what he does. For over two years before I decided to do this procedure, Roxy and Dr. Epstein counseled me and answered all of my many questions and concerns. They took excellent care of me before and after my procedure and I am thrilled with the results. It makes me happy to know that there are brilliant people like Dr.Epstein in this world sharing their skills with those that need them.

Their patience and work with me was truly outstanding and most of all successful.
Sincerely

*Patient had surgical hairline advancement with balloon tissue expander

*Patient had prior scarring along the inner aspect of the eyebrows from a poorly performed traumatic eyebrow waxing. She underwent several transplant procedures.

Hi Dr. Epstein and Roxy!

I hope you're both doing great! I am so happy with the way the eyebrows have turned out. This has been such a blessing in my life!

I've included a couple of pictures. You'll see that the area where we excised the scar is still thinner than I'd like, but almost there. I think it would take only another 50 or so hairs. Everything else is absolutely perfect!

Please let me know. Friday, March 11, would be perfect if that could work for you!

Thanks,
D

Dear Dr. Epstein:
Thank You!

Just a note of thanks to you and your kind & thoughtful staff - team.
You truly are a gifted surgeon and "artist".
My friends and family have all raved how much younger I look yet "natural."
I'd also like to thank you for coming in on a Sunday to see me. I am very grateful to you for your thoughtfulness & caring.
I'm so blessed to know you & have chosen you as my surgeon.

God Bless You!

HELLO,

CRYSTAL SALAZAR

Hi Jon,

I am doing great!! I am really glad that I took this decision and that you helped me to make the right choice by referring me to one of the most excellent doctors, who specialize in this procedure. I am so excited to see my eyebrow grow very soon. I will always be thankful to you and Dr. Epstein for the excellent work.

Best Regards,
Adriana A

Dear Dan,

I am very happy with my results. In March it will be a year, and as promised, my hair has consistently gotten thicker. Thanks for checking in.

Angela K

Thank you Dr. Epstein and Dan for your timely responses. I love my new eyebrows and have received many many compliments on them already so clearly I want to hold on to every precious hair. Probably because I really had no eyebrows, women immediately recognize that I now do have eyebrows and admire the shape and position of the brows. Guys can't really put their finger on why I look better, they think I must have lost weight. It's all good.

Thank you again.

Jackie

Jeff,

Thank you for the opportunity to come observe your practice in action. Although hair is a smaller part of my practice, watching what you and your staff are doing is inspiring and a motivation to do things better- hopefully I can have my lead transplant tech visit sometime as well.

Thanks again- rooting for the Jets-

Mark H, MD, FACS

Happy New Year to you , too, Ed!!

All is well with me. Yet, again, I have had a most wonderful experience with Dr Epstein and his "transplant divas".....no complications , no problems, no pain during or post procedure......

In my opinion, Dr Epstein is simply the best......

I will be in touch ......

Regards,
Dr N

Roxy

Thanks, I appreciate the follow-up. I am all healed, the hair is just starting to fall out now and things progressed exactually as I was told.

I was very impressed by your staff's professionalism and attention to making me feel comfortable.

I will send pictures once the hair regrows in the upcoming months; I am anxiously awaiting the regrowth.

Thanks for all your staff does, this one small change will have a positive impact on the rest of my life.

Regards,
Melissa

Hi Dan,

Everything went well. The staff was courteous, professional and answered all of my questions. I am totally thrilled with my procedure and I can't wait til the growth starts. I kept a photo journal of my experiences so I'd love to share photos with Dr. Epstein's staff down the line showcasing my growth process.

Thanks for the follow up.

Hi Roxy,

I would like to thank you all for your kindness and expertise. I am glad I chose you (Dr Epstein) for the procedure, as I feel in doing so, I have given myself the best chance for the best possible outcome for my hair restoration. Thanks again and I look forward to showing you the outcome once it has grown in.

I will soon send you some pics of mine new hair.

Hugs and Kiss

Dear guys

Just wanted to drop a quick line to thank you so much. Had some discomfort from the swelling but a Motrin and lortab has helped. I can't even begin to tell you how pleased i am. I only expected that this procedure would remove some scalp behind the hairline so there would be less area to transplant. My hairline looks so good. Gone is that Frankenstein look that has bothered me for 15 yrs. i truly believe that even without the future softening of my hairline that no one would even know, it looks so natural, and it will only get better. Jeff, you did an amazing job. Hairline looks so much better, my eyes are lifted, forehead wrinkles are smooth. Words can not describe how grateful i am. Moreover you staff is so wonderful esp Ed and Camille and the other staff. When can i see this on youtube, if you ever need a testimonial, no problem. enjoy the rest of your time in NY and i look forward to seeing you in Miami. As i said, even without the future work on my hairline, you have EXCEEDED all my expectations.

sincerely
Sam

Hi Maureen,

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I was one of your patients about three months ago. I forgot up to now to send you some greetings from Germany.

Congratulations to your way how to work and to your staff. I felt very comfortable during the procedure and afterwards. Everything made a very professional impression to me.

Best regards
R. O

I want to say thank you!!! I am still healing but so far so good. I really could not be happier with Dr Epstein and the rest of the staff esp you!! You all are amazing!! Tell Dr Epstein THANK YOU SO MUCH!! He was very sweet and I was really nervous. He really made me feel comfortable though.

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you!!
Jill

Hello Ed,

My hair in the front is impressive really I love it! I am a new person and it is the best decision I've ever made; you guys did a splendid job.thank you. I am happy that the friend I sent you Mr a is very satisfied with his implants and I am sending you now another friend Mr leroux, he is from paris and very excited by the prospect. I will try to come by as soon as I can to show you my amazing hair.

Dr. E is one of the best in the world at hair transplants. He does personal consults with his patients to tell them their options as far as hair restoration. He answers all questions and concerns that the patient may have regarding procedures. The patient is always his top priority. In my opinion, Dr. E and his staff are the best in the field. I have had the same procedures done by other doctors in the past and the experience and results do not even come close to the excellent experience I have had with Dr. E. If you want excellent results and a doctor that cares choose Dr. E. Dr. E likes to use his skills to restore the hair of victims of tragic events such as burns, accidents, and domestic violence. I am so thankful for this.

I decided to have tissue expanders placed in my scalp to get rid of scar tissue from a grease burn at the age of 2. I have had to get the same hair cut for the past 32 years. As a kid, I was made fun of about my hair. The results of how I was treated by my peers as a kid flowed over into adulthood. Prior to the procedure, I was always worried if my scars were showing. I sacrificed a lot due to my scars. I couldn't go swimming without people staring. I always had to worry about the wind messing up my hair and exposing my scars. So I decided to try to fix the situation by contacting a hair restoration doctor.

The pros to tissue expanders is the results are immediate. The hair does not lose the blood supply and is not removed from the scalp. The scalp is just moved over to cover the bald area. The downside to tissue expanders is the deformity that they cause for 2-3 months while the scalp is making new skin. I was able to cover it up with a bandana, but it depends how where the expander is placed and how large the expander is pumped up. I had the procedure done five times before and knew what to expect. With the advancement in medical devices, the expanders have external ports which make pumping them up a lot easier.

My name is Melanie, and I am writing to share my experiences having hair follicle grafting with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, in Miami, Florida. I do not know how long this writing will turn out, but I will promise you all several things:

  • My hair loss has caused me to cry a lot over the years
  • Dr. Epstein and his staff treated me with compassion bordering on love
  • Dr. Epstein's work looks so amazingly natural that NO ONE can tell that I have had follicle grafting, even after I choose to share it with people
  • And finally, I will cry as I write this (in fact, the tears have already started, making it harder to see the stupid keyboard!)

I am a 43 year old woman, with an endocrine issue, which has lead to fluctuations in my hormones. In my 30's, I began to lose hair in the corners of my hair line, and it also began to recede. I have spoken with other women about this, and it is so devastating. People tell me that I'm pretty, but that is hard to see when I see my scalp. I've gotten really good at styling my hair to minimize the effects of the hair loss, but even that has limitations: When I put my hair in a ponytail, I have to be very careful to place my hair just right so the thinness is not apparent. I live in Florida and I can't go swimming, because when thin hair gets wet, the loss is really obvious.
This is Florida, and there are countless doctors performing surgeries of all kinds. And even among those who specialize in hair replacement, every skill level is represented down here. I wanted a surgeon who not only had a lot of experience, but who specifically had a lot of experience working on women. Dr. Epstein came highly referred by two other top plastic surgeons, and thus, in the spring of 2006, I had a consultation with him—at the same time I met Roxy, Dr. Epstein's office manager; this woman defines the word "love." Dr. Epstein asked me what my goals were with respect to my hair restoration, and through my tears, I said to put my hair in a ponytail again, to be normal. I think that it was then that he hugged me and said that WE'D get there.
In May of 2006, I had my first surgery, in which Dr. Epstein did about 1,950 grafts. Long story short, the days of plugs are OVER! He removed a strip of scalp from the area of the back of my head with really think hair density (by the way, it is nearly impossible to find the "donor area" once it healed!), and then his technicians removed the skin from each follicle using really cool microscopes. His staff are ALL professionals.
Once the follicles are prepared, Dr. Epstein uses tools that he designed himself to make tiny incisions into which the follicles (in groupings according to what looks the most natural) are placed. The whole process is nearly a miracle.
Fast forward a year, and I saw Dr. Epstein again, who felt that a touch up would be in order, and that really helped.
However three years later, I'd had some more loss, and on Friday, July 30, I met with Dr. Epstein and Roxy again, and we decided to do about another 1,150 to really thicken the areas which were the worst. Surgery was Wednesday, August 18, and I just can't wait until the follicles begin doing their thing (when they are first moved from the back of the head to the front of the head, they enter a temporary resting stage). I will be 44 in December; what a beautiful present to be able to see greater hair density for my birthday…and beyond.
I am very choosy as to whom I share this aspect of my life. IT IS EMOTIONALLY PAINFUL. Yet when I do, and as I mentioned earlier, because of Dr. Epstein's beautifully natural-looking work, even when I tell people, they are astonished; every graft simply looks natural.
Finally a few words about Dr. Epstein and his staff, but on a personal level: The other day I thanked Dr. Epstein for becoming a doctor, for this is what I believe he is best suited for in life. He has so very much added to my quality of life; in truth, I cannot thank him enough. Roxy, heart is only surpassed by her AMAZING ability to color coordinate; I love her.
To the staff Cindy, Susie, Peggy, Linda and Candy (and to those whose names I have forgotten, pleased forgive me!!!), you too are all amazing.
To put this all together in a neat little bow, God bless Dr. Epstein and his staff. My thinning hair was not only treated by one of the top hair restoration surgeons (and his staff) in the world, but on top of that I was treated with love, respect and compassion.

With deepest gratitude and affection,
Melanie

Patient Testimonials

Hello, Roxy & Dr. Epstein!

Just wanted to give you a little update on my hairline advancement, also known as the procedure that changed my life! it's been 6 months and all I can say is WOW! It's growing in very nicely...in some patches but I concur that's totally normal.

THANKS AGAIN!
L.R

Hi Jon, its so nice to hear from you. The procedure went so well and I am so grateful to you, Dr. Epstein, and your entire staff. I felt so completely comfortable and so welcomed by everyone. As far as my expectations, your office exceeded those by millions. I am so pleased at the results thus far I can only imagine weeks from now. I want to thank you all for everything you have done for me, you can not even see the tattoos anymore and that is what I was looking for.

Thank you again!!!!
You guys are awesome!!!!!

Hello Dr. Epstein,

Just a brief note to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and your staff for the warm, friendly, embracing professionalism shown to me and my husband during our visit to both your Miami and New York locations for the hairline advancement procedure and most recently, the hair transplant procedure.

The chemical burns I suffered to my hairline was really a bad experience coupled with my lack of knowledge regarding hair, automatically assuming that it would grow back, I waited several years, trying a lot of different products, to no avail. I came across your web-site and compared your information to others in the New York area and was very impressed by what I learned from your web-site.

After meeting you, your down to earth personality along with the passion that exuberates from you as a result of your profession, you had my total trust. It was obvious to me that you are a perfectionist in your craft, and who can ask for anything more? I too am a perfectionist. Therefore, it was easy for me to pick up on that character in you.

Again, thank you and I look forward to our next meeting. I do plan to return for you to get after photographs.

With warm regards,
Linda

Hi Jon, I am doing very well.

I came to work on Monday and other than a little discomfort i am doing quite well. I would do it again in a heart beat. Yes, my expectations were exceeded. I loved the whole atmosphere in the office and felt very comfortable. I felt very cared for.

The girls who assisted were wonderful as well

Hi,

I want to thank you so much for making this possible for me!!! I am sooo excited and happy, love it!! Can't wait for the new hair to start growing.

You are soo professional and nice, and your staff are great and sweet.

lissette

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Thanks to you and your staff for everything. Despite the long travels and the first night post-op sleep, it was a fun experience in a weird kind of way, if that makes any sense.

Have a good weekend and say hi to the ladies for me. BTW, I had sushi at the Target Mall... was pretty good... thanks for the tip. Also, let me know if Suzy relayed my ideas I gave her about additions that might be helpful to the your website.

Lastly, I really appreciate everything, Dr. Epstein and although some might feel that doing this might be frivolous and vain, these people most likely have all of their hair. You really change people's lives and all I want now, is to fall into that category! I don't think this email fits into your long catalog of glowing testimonials, but trust me, when the results are in, in a few months time, you'll get one from me that will be worthy of Page 1!!!

Patient from Switzerland

Hey Dr. E!

Everything seems to be going wonderfully! The stitches have all disappeared and the transplanted hair is falling out as planned. I really kind of want to use a lint roller and try and get the last few hold outs off, but thats probably not a good idea. :) The redness up front is pretty much gone as well, and I have been using the rogaine daily per the post op instructions.

I've attached a couple photos from last night for your review. I have been taking a picture a day in three standard positions so I can put together a time lapse video over the course of the next 6 months to a year.

I have had to see a couple other doctors since for other things, and I mentioned to both that you performed the surgery. They not only knew who you were, but were excited to get to see your work. One even took photos of my hairline, amazed at how perfectly natural it looked. So far, money well spent!! I've gotten many positive responses from my coworkers as well. None of them knew that the technology and techniques had come this far, and commented that it was flawless. They are just as curious as I am to see it growing back in! :)

Saw you operated on my friend Jewel as well, hope that went well. She seemed rather pleased when I spoke to her today!

You are the first doctor I look forward to having to come back and see. Now I just have to find something to improve.... Hey Ed! How's that lower body lift quote? :) Not sure if there is anything wrong with my face, but I am open to suggestions. :)

Anyway, off to bed for me. Launched one new rocket today, and have a shuttle next week.

Thanks for checking in!
Calvin

PS - I have a really good review in the works that I should be finishing up this coming weekend. As soon as its done, I'll email it to both you and Ed.

Thank you Dr. Epstein, for giving me beauty again, your talent, your wisdom, and great hands are a blessing to all women who need it.

I look forward in seeing you again on the 17th, I was not sure I sent my e-mail correctly to you, so I sent another one to Dan for you.

Many Blessings,
Joy

Hi Lanny,

I did this years ago and it's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love my forehead now, and I haven't needed bangs since the procedure. I feel beautiful every day now.

I can wear my hair in a nice ponytail and not have to worry about the wind blowing or my forehead showing because it's now a beautiful forehead.

My forehead used to be big and square and now it is more oval and proportionate with the rest of my face.

Did you see my before and after pictures on their website (www.foundhair.com)?

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Attached are photos of Day 6 following my procedure. Of course, we won't know for sure how my brows will turn out until after the new hairs grow in, but for now, I am pretty pleased!

I also wanted to let you know how appreciative I am for the caring, concern and undivided attention I received from your staff. Linda completed the job. Bless her! I will never forget her dedication and patience in getting the job done.

Carlos too, was a blessing. He stayed with me after hours, making sure I was okay and had everything I needed (medication, water, taxi), even walked me to the bathroom and waited to make sure I made it back to the operating room. I will never forget his kindness.

I would also like to commend Mercedes (Mercy) for attending to me during the injections. I am very pain-intolerant, but Mercy held my hand and distracted me with pleasant chatter so that I made it through the worst of it without much pain at all. God holds a special place for caretakers such as her.

Of course, I cannot end this without mentioning Roxy. Her warm smile and hug when I entered the office were enough to ease my fears about going through this procedure again. She is a real gem, as I'm sure you already know.

Although this is something I never want to have to repeat, I can honestly say that your kind and caring staff helped to lessen my anxiety and they deserve the utmost praise. Thank you all for helping me through this.

The following photos are completely un-retouched, no makeup except for some brow gel to hold the hairs in place. I pray that my brows will look as good once the news hairs grow in!

Roxy,

I had received a phone call a while back from someone checking in me. I never returned the call, but please let Dr. E and the staff that it is growing in nicely and I am very pleased..not longer self-conscious:)

Thanks for the follow up and I will send pictures at 9 months

Beth

Good Morning, Dr. Epstein:

It's been awhile since we've touched base, but I've seen a few of your posts during those rare moments when I'm on Facebook. Hope all is still well w/ you & your practice!

If you recall, you performed my hair transplant back on July 3, 2007, I believe. I don't recall the total # of grafts. Beautiful job w/ the incision; clean, even, healed quickly, with a "scar" that's only visible when my barber uses a #2 shaver. Same w/ the graft quality; no buckling, scarring, etc.

Darin

Hello Dr. Epstein and Roxy!

The new hairs have grown in and they look really really good. I'm so happy with the results. Everything is perfect. I would like to send you a picture, but at the moment I'm in a hurry to work out my schedule. I'm going to Haiti in April so I'm hoping to get in with you.

Thanks for your wonderful work. It's been such a blessing to have this done!

Hello Ed,

I am feeling great, and my recovery has been quite smooth. I was nervous, however, when I saw the hairs coming out with the crusts, but I got out my handy dandy post-op instructions & read them over & over for reassurance that they will grow back, haha! :) A good bit of the hairs are still there, so I can see now kind of what it will look like in several months when they do grow back which is awesome. I could not be happier with the appearance because the shape suits my face perfectly. I still cannot believe how natural they look (already) and how amazing the shape of my eyebrows are. I am attaching a picture so you can see me one week post surgery. I will do the same several months from now so you can get the true "after" photo.

Now for the staff-I could not say enough how much I appreciated the comfort and ease they brought to the room, especially since I made the decision to have this surgery less than a week before having it. You have a great team of professionals who definitely made an impact in my life in a 5 hour span of time. Please thank all of them for me. And please thank the super famous Dr. Epstein for the amazing work he does (and did for me) to put smiles (and eyebrows) on people's faces!!! :) I couldn't have found a better doctor and team.

At this point, I don't think there is anything I need except maybe one additional reassuring message that these hairs will grow back. I know they will, but I just like to hear/read it one more time!

Thanks for everything. I will keep in touch!
Missy S

Dear Roxy,

I hope all is well with you. It is now about 6 months after my operation, and I am delighted with the results. The eyebrows grew back beautifully. And the nose, after some getting used to (primarily by myself), has claimed its natural place on my face like it has always been there in this form. At first I was very worried at how people would react to the new look, but it was interesting that only few people saw anything different, apart from thinking I was looking great. They just could not pin point what exactly had changed. I must say that now that I have the nose correction done, I realize that the somewhat unusual shape of my nose did bother me and I am happy that I had the operation.

I am contacting you because I would like to make an appointment with dr. Epstein during my next visit to Miami. I will be in town for my annual check up on February 22 and 23 and will be available to stop by in the afternoon of any of the two days. I hope it is not too short notice, but I just need a few minutes to show the results

I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Regards,
Sheila

Hi Jon;

Thank you for checking in.. My procedure went well.. I am feeling pretty good and I will be coming in for suture removal on the 19th

Thanks again.. As usual, your staff and the professionalism and skills of Dr. Epstein are exceptional...

Rani:-)

Hello Ed,

Thank you for checking in with me. I am happy to report that my post procedure week has been complication- free! I've had absolutely no problems. The donor site is healing well; my husband and I have a very hard time even finding the site these days!! The recipient site is , I believe, "healed" - it is almost scab-free and of normal color -- the erythema has completely resolved !

Needless to say, I am very happy that I chose to come to the "Dr Epstein group" - from initial contact with you, Ed, to meeting the very classy and skillful Dr Epstein and all his "transplant goddesses" - my experience has been excellent!!

Now......the waiting begins.....can't wait to see the "finished product".........

I will be in touch with updates!

Thanks again for all your help. I enjoyed meeting you and "putting a face" with the emails.

Warmest regards,
Dr N.

Hey Jon,

POST Surgery - 1 wk update:

I am very well...& HAPPY with the outcome. YES, as you can see from these pictures 'actually' taken yesterday (1/27/10), things are looking great. Still have mild yellowish bruising under eyes but makeup does wonders for that...Pinkish in the brows but not noticeable UNLESS I mentioned I had the surgery. The funny part is, when we got home last Thursday, my parents & my in-laws never noticed...I didn't let family know until after the surgery. (Sometimes ignorance causes negativity)! They thought I was only going down there to 'talk' to Dr. Epstein, ha-ha.

Dr. Epstein, You and the rest of the STAFF are truly amazing, caring and talented people. I noticed everyone was so together there and as time went on during my surgery, I felt more and more comfortable. (Enjoyed staff singing 'Ring of Fire' & 'Hotel California' in my ear**accent was great**. This by far has been THE BEST doctor's appointment I have ever had.

I was nervous ONLY bc of the following: Researched thru internet & booked it over the phone back in November, flew in the day of surgery all the way from Jacksonville (hahah) & finally met Dr. Epstein. First time for everything RIGHT!!! What made the decision EASY for me was this: When researching internet websites, Dr. Epstein's stood out from everyone. I loved the fact the pictures could be magnified for close-ups so You felt like YOU were actually looking at the person and NOT viewing it long-distance. Dr. Epstein's visual talent for viewing your facial structure and knowing what looks BEST for YOU is priceless! My personal experience was not uncomfortable or apprehensive. I was made to feel special...Not another number or surgery BUT as someone you truly wanted to help. Its not about the money either. I have time now for focusing MORE on what matters most: hubby, my kids and activities I had long avoided.

I will definitely keep taking pictures, journaling my experience & keeping in touch with you. I sincerely hope my progress and testimony could help someone else that feels the way I USED to feel. My heart is OVERJOYED right now bc I feel like I got my life back, silly as that sounds. I can get ready in no time flat!! I can go without makeup, as Dr. Epstein recommended a 'Southern girl' should do...I'm looking forward to the summer and continued progress....

Sincerely GRATEFUL,
Shannon S

I had my hair transplants done on January 8th, and I was just so amazed at how wonderful the experience was. I'm not saying needles to my scalp are a treat, but the kind and genuine care I received was absolutely outstanding.

I'm 25, and I've been losing my hair since I was 14. It was a secret I kept and concealed for over a decade, not even members of my family knew how bad my alopecia progressed. It's effected every area of my life.

Socially, men of my past will tell you that I have problems with intimacy and commitment. And I can't blame them for having that impression of me when I wouldn't even let them stroke my hair, shower with them, or go on vacation with them when I've been invited. The truth is, I would have LOVED to have done those things, but I couldn't because my secret would be revealed. So I have missed out on so many experiences and several potential long-term relationships as a result of my condition. It's left me rather lonely.

My hair loss has even effected my professional life. I was accepted and should have started medical school last year, but I didn't. I knew I couldn't proceed with this next huge step in my life without facing this skeleton in my closet. The last thing I wanted to worry about as a medical student is if my classmates, patients, teachers, or boyfriends can tell that I'm balding. I could have been in my second semester of medical school at this point, but I knew I needed to see Dr. Epstein first. As I told Dr. Epstein, I re-applied for the entering class of 2010, and I got accepted to Howard University, a well-respected medical school. I'm excited to start in the Fall, but quite honestly, I'm even more excited that I'll be 6 months post-op by that time!

I know this is something you all do everyday, but for me January 8th changed my life. Nothing will ever the be same, and I am so glad for that. Because of Dr. Epstein and his wonderful staff, I have been saved from a life of loneliness, secrets, and insecurities... and I can't even begin to explain how free I now feel. It's hard for me to write this without crying my eyes out, but I'm so glad to say that they are tears of happiness.

Thank you improving my life and giving me new opportunities. Dr. Epstein has literally been the answer to my prayers. I'll be sure to send photos and keep in touch....

With all the sincerity I have, thank you.

Warmly,
Jackie A

I do want to thank you and Dr. Epstein for all your help.

My only experience with Doctors before this was GPs, and I must say this was the most unstressful, convenient, and ethical experience I have ever had at a Dr's office. I can honestly say this is the only time I have ever felt that a Dr. was looking out for my best interest.

I will be recommending you guys to anyone I know that is looking for a plastic surgeon.

Yubi

Hello, and happy New Year!

I want to let you know how very satisfied I am with the transplantation procedure Dr. Epstein did for me. Even though my procedure was four years ago (with a follow up procedure in early 2008), I am utterly amazed EVERY DAY at how beautifully and completely my eyebrows were restored. I am relieved that I no longer think about my brows (except to trim them and admire them!). There is nothing "transplanted" looking about them; they are completely "me," and they are even better than the brows I was born with, before I over-tweezed them. I wear absolutely no makeup on my brows, because now they are JUST PERFECT.

There is no question that I was helped by the very finest specialist in the field; I am so grateful that I met Dr. Epstein and his staff! When I feel the need for any other cosmetic procedure, I will consult Dr. Epstein.

Very best regards,
Kathleen

Things are great!

Dr. Epstein did incredible work for me and I am eternally grateful in more ways than I can ever be able to list! I was very depressed about my situation for many years, and now every time I look in the mirror I am happy! What a difference in my life overall, you have no idea. If I ever consider other procedures in the future, I will consult with him first. I appreciate your checking in with me, and send my regards to Dr. E. Also if he ever needs a referral or if a prospective client wants to hear how great my experience has been, I am happy to share...

Happy New Year!
Kate

Dr. Epstein

everything's great!! the hairs were all grown in by early december which i was so surprised about. i thought it would take much longer. my eyebrows look amazing- i could not be happier with the work done.

thanks so much-
Janna

Hi DJ,

I was the guy who had a bad experience with another Dr. the other time and you recommended Dr. Epstein. Well, l had my procedure last friday (12/4/09) at his NYC office. I came away feeling really good. He is indeed a great guy. I was very impress with him and his staff. They treated me like somebody. The nurses were very helpful even the following day when l went back to wash the hair, they were just great to say the least. I have had a terrible and emotional degrading experience from my past Dr. in NJ who always like being in the media all time. The closing in the donor area is amazing. He remove the old scar and close it and it appears nothing ever happened there. My only regrets, is why l didn't go with Dr. Epstein from the beginning. if l had, l would have completely restore my hair by now. it would have only taking 2 session. l know is too early to be jumping up and saying what a wonder result? But l am very please with the entire process upto this moment.

Thank you DJ for saving me and leading me in the right direction. You could have ignore my e-mail 2 yrs ago, but God touch you to direct me. My life was so miserable l didn't think this life was a place for me anymore. I have attached the pix. before and after.

Thanks again DJ.
God will bless you for what you have done for me.

Hi Roxy and Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to say thank you again. Everyone at the office is so great and makes the procedure go so smoothly. I appreciate the time and all the work that went into my procedure. Linda was great and I love the shape of the brows. I truly hope that this does it for me. It's nice to feel human again. Losing my eyebrows has been such a hard thing for me to go through but you guys all make it easier. Again thank you for everything and I'll send you guys some updated pictures after a while. If there is anything I can do to help you guys please let me know.

Thank you again for everything!!
Jen

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I am back in New Jersey after my procedure last week and having a speedy recovery. I wanted to Thank You very much for your help you and your staff both in Miami and New York have given me.

Firstly, Karen and your other staff members who worked with me during my procedure in Miami made me feel so comfortable and were very friendly through out my entire procedure-please thank them so much for me! Secondly, I want to especially thank Maureen from New York for her helpfulness to assist me over the past several months answering all my questions and concerns that I had. She facilitated me in every step of the way and that means a lot to a patient with lots of questions and concerns.

So I thank her very much for her eagerness to always assist. And Finally, Dr. Epstein, I want to Thank You so much for helping me out.

This was a big decision for me and I would not have trusted anyone else. It's been a week since my procedure and I am very happy with the results so far and I'm anxiously waiting for time to go by. You did a flawless job and the results so far are incredible! I am very happy with the work you did and will always be grateful for that. Thanks once again, I will see you soon!!!

Take Care,
Rishi P

Hey Maureen,

I am doing good resting at the Hampton. Under all the medication and sleepy. Just got a chance to check my e-mail. The procedure went well and everyone at the office in Miami was so nice to me and made the procedure a success.

Dr. Epstein is truly a world class doctor and I am so happy that I made this decision to work with him...and all of this was only possible because our endless e-mail conversations to work out everything.

I am going back to the office tomorrow for another hair wash and laser. Do you all have the laser therapy there at the NY office as well? I fly Saturday morning for New Jersey. I have to write an official letter of thanks to you and Dr. Epstein...so when I feel a little better next week I will get back to you on that.

Thanks for asking how I am doing....that means a lot!!!!

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I wanted to Thank you & your staff. You were my last chance at fixing my eyebrows and the burns scars that I have lived with for two very long years.

I am so Thankful for what you have done for me!! Hopefully when the hairs grow back in I will be able to look in the mirror again and smile.

You & your staff are awesome, I was treated so good. Like you said, It's hard to please a Scorpio and You Have in every way!! Please take care and Happy Holidays,

I will send pictures in 3-4 months when the hairs grow in.

Thanks,
Angela B

Hi Roxy!

Thanks again for coming in to meet me. That was really sweet. I was pretty nervous that day as it was all too surreal. Your helped calm me down a bit:)

Things are going well. I am using Rogaine for women and otherwise, just waiting to see if I am going to grow some hair in the spring.... kinda anxious really!

Anyway, I hope you all had a great thanksgiving and enjoy the rest of the holiday season. Please pass on my thanks to everyone. You all are superb!

xo
Beth

Dr. Epstein:

Just wanted to thank you and your staff, specially Karen and Niurka, for a wonderful experience during my procedure today.

My anxiety prior to the procedure was overcome by the professionalism and caring felt in your office.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Jaime N

I am, thank you!

I have been meaning to call the office, but life is crazy busy around here.

You and your staff are incredible at what you do and experiencing how efficient you all are at this, makes me not worry a bit. I am looking forward to seeing what hairs grow in this spring. I will send you pictures when it starts to happen.

Thank you again for your dedication and skill and for doing something for me that I have literally wanted my entire life.
I am still in disbelief that I may have that hairline. We will see!

Happy thanksgiving,
Beth

P.S. for the donor site, is it okay to put neosporin or cortisone on it??

I have every intention of following up with having my neck done and the revision on the hair replacement on my right side.

Recently I saw Dr. Linda Marraccini, my GP (in your building), for a physical and I mentioned that I was going to have some cosmetic surgery with you and she told me you are one of the most incredibly talented surgeons ever. She told me that you could probably rebuild an entire face you were so skilled and that I would never have to worry about a bad outcome with you. Just thought you might like to know what your peers say about you.

Respectfully,
Pamela

Hi there,

I just walked in my door and saw that you called! Thank you so much for everything! For all the follow up, which is THE ONLY REASON I got off my butt and did it! I was so nervous about the unknown, and you really kept reassuring me that it would work and that it would be okay! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

The procedure was a piece of cake! I felt nothing! And from what I can tell, everything will look great! Dr. Epstein thought I had VERY attainable goals and that it would work! Everyone in the office was GREAT! I thought I would be embarrassed in front of them, but they were all very inviting and helpful. They made me VERY comfortable and at ease! The only bad part was riding home on the plane with out my hair blown dry and the ugly tape on my forehead! But I got over it!

If it wasn't for you, I would not have done this so THANK YOU AGAIN!
Mary

Roxy,

Good to hear from you!!  Yes, I am always thinking of the best time to come and see you all again.  I am most probably coming in the spring with some girlfriends this time...more fun that way!!!

Anyway, it's all a work in progress scheduled around work and life in general.  Will call to set up a time in Florida and email some current pictures of my brows. The planted follicles have continued to grow and flourish...just needing some fine-tuning which we knew we would have to do.  Also, would like to transplant more along the hairline as before...esp the right side!!

I think of you all often, esp whenever I get compliments form people about my eyes...they all think I had some bleph. work  or something, they cannot figure it out!!  They are acquaintances so I just smile and say thank you!!

Will contact you later!!

Take care!!
Marie

Hi Dr. E!

The new hairs have grown in and they look amazing! I'm very, very pleased. See the pictures.

Your work is amazing!

Hey Roxy,

Thanks for checking in! I LOVE the results - it's pretty amazing! Even when I did have eyebrow hair (before plucking), I NEVER had this perfect shape that I have now. Just for fun, I attached before and after photo from my personal album. The "after" shot shows them with some eyebrow pencil applied, but you get the idea!

Have a great weekend!
Ron

Hi Ed,

What a cordial response! I bet you are very busy being Dr. Epstein's  patient advisor. My husband, Burke, and I accidentally happened upon Dr. Epstein about 8 years ago and it was the best piece of luck we've ever had! I've recommended him to many people and always mention how high he scored on his board exams. Hah! I went back to work two weeks after my face-lift and no one suspected anything other than I looked well-rested.

We would life to submit photos to you as soon as we take some up close shots. Burke is interested in, guess what?,  MORE HAIR!!! His transplanted hairs took very well on the top front of his head, but he needs to fill in the open spot toward the back and a little more on the front hairline.  I am interested in either a mini-midfacelife or a mid-facelift. I have high cheekbones already but they would look a lot better if they were north about 1/2 inch or so. Also, does Dr. Epstein go in through the under eye or the inside of the mouth to get to the cheek muscles or does he prefer an endoscopic approach through the temples? He did such good work around the my ear area. I might also need some laser resurfacing under my right eye as I ran into a tree branch while mowing the lawn on our tractor mower and the small injury site has a few scars. I would be willing to do whatever Dr. Epstein suggests. Maybe a full face lift would work also since I already have the incisions, but this approach might not lift the midface.

Thanks for your reply and we will be sending photos shortly.

Hi Dr E.

I just wanted to send u new pictures of Addison since it has been a little over a year since her last procedure. She looks great she still is getting new hair growth but as you can see it is coming in wonderfully. This is the first year she has been in school where she hasn't had to wear her wig and she's comfortable with it. When I look at the pictures I never thought 3 years ago that this was even possible. You are a the greatest doctor and a even more wonderful man. My daughter asks about you all the time and she wants to come visit you soon. I could never repay you are or be more thankful to anyone in my life.

She is going to be undergoing a similar procedure on her back to remove the large scar that was left there.

Love,
Bobbi Jo Moman & Addison Copeland

Hi Dr. E.,

I wanted to thank you and your staff for taking such good care of me last week. Everything is going as expected and I'm looking forward to a fabulous result. You mentioned that you could refer me to one of your colleagues in Palo Alto or Menlo Park to have my stitches removed and I'd very much appreciate that. Since I had my surgery last Wednesday, I should schedule the stitches removal for this coming Monday, August 31, right?

BTW, over the weekend I saw several episodes of Miami Social, including the season finale. The show itself is dreadful (and kinda boring), but you came out great! I hope that works out for you. Michael seems like a nice guy, too.

Thanks again for all your work on my behalf and for making this whole process easy and comfortable for me.

All the best,
B

Roxy,

Just another funny "new hair" story. I saw my cousin who I have not seen in about 5-6 months.... and he looked at my hair and said... "someone is coloring their hair"....... I told him... no coloring then..... I had to laugh to myself.....

jc

Dr. Epstein,

I received an email from your office, that you were appearing on Miami Social on Tuesday, performing the surgery on Michael, one of the characters of the reality show.  I've been watching the show, but I made sure I taped it because I didn't want to miss it.

I was in your office last year for a consultation on hair replacement.  I really liked how you explained the process and your employees were all so courteous.  I definitely want to do it, and I've been saving up to be able to next year.  The reason for this note, is that after watching the show on Tuesday, and the actual operation, my decision is made.  I saw how simple and casual it is, and it makes me more at ease with the procedure.  Thanks for showing this on TV, I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way I do.

When I'm ready (saved enough), I will contact your office again and will setup an appointment for the procedure.

You are definitely a "rising star".

Thanks for your time.

Dr. Epstein,

Just a quick question. I really like, from what I can research, What Dr. Woods is doing. Is yours different? I want to buzz my hair, I do it now, I'm a 1.8 density and very fine.

I have not done anything at all yet. But FUE sounds like good stuff to me.

You did a great job on my sister Enid. Everytime I see her I am happy that I recommended you. Trust me if she wasn't happy my life would be hell. Even my mom was happy in the choice I made for her. Just really good work my man.

Thanks,
Todd H - Long Island, N.Y. (Enids brother)

Hi Jeff:

I don't know if you remember me, but, I wanted to tell you that I saw you on Miami Social, you look terrific! Also, I wanted to tell you that after 10 months, my sister Alison's hair looks terrific, too. You did a splendid job, I'm glad I sent her to you. If you have a spare moment in NYC when you are here, I would love to have a drink.

Best,
Craig

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Roxy, Cindy, Susie, & All the Wonderful Staff & Nurses,

Thank you so much for all the excellent treatment you're given me throughout my procedure & post-op laser hair therapy. You have made this a memorable experience & one that I will recommend to any friend who needs it.

Thank you again for everything!
Cristy

Hi Roxy,

I can't believe it has been over a year. It actually felt like something was missing this past Spring when I didn't plan a trip to Miami, but I really didn't need to come - my brows grew in beautifully! I'm attaching a photo of me taken on my trip to Alaska last summer. It was great to be able to travel light and worry-free with my new brows.

Based on the email updates I've received, it seems that Dr Epstein has been keeping very busy. I think of you both often and will never be able to thank you enough for all that you've done for me. I hope both you and Dr. Epstein are doing well and I appreciate you touching base to check on how things turned out.

Thanks again,
Nancy

Hi Roxy,

I'm doing well. I hope you and Dr. Epstein have been doing well too. Thank you so much for reaching out to me. I also wanted to thank you, Dr. Epstein and the rest of the staff for making it such a wonderful experience.

While my brows still have some bald spots they are a HUGE improvement from what they were and for that I am truly grateful!!

Thanks again for helping restore my brows and my confidence :) Please tell Dr. Epstein I said hello :)

Warm regards,
Nicole

P.S. I tried to attach some wedding pictures so I hope you are able to get them. We just had our 1st anniversary- can you believe it??

Hi Maureen !!

It's been exactly one week today and all went so well at Dr. Epstein's office !!! I am so excited about my new eyebrows and they did such a beautiful job...

I am so impressed with Dr.Epstein and his staff... Linda was unbelievable !!! They took such time and care with me and I am grateful and could not be happier... they strive for perfection !!!

I also went to the Boca office and they were kind enough to shampoo my hair the next two days after the procedure and I met Dr. Charles, who also I was impressed with and his concern... I will see Dr. Charles on Monday to have the sutures removed...

Thank you also for all your help with making this procedure happen !!

Regards,
Catherine

Hi Roxy,

Jim and I just got home last night after being in Zimbabwe for a month. Very cold there...

My hair is great and incision site healed. Haven't had time to communicate with you as the Blackberry Storm phone I have with my and Verizon global service would not work from there or South Africa for the entire trip! Rats!

Such is life.

So today we are just trying to catch up...

Jury duty yikes! School in 2 weeks!

Back to the race!

Best.
Lynn

Hello Roxy,

Sorry I have not gotten your email and responded sooner, but it was in the spam box, anyways, I am interested in either botox or this new product, to be done on my forehead facial lines.

I would like to set up an appointment for Monday, Aug 3rd, if available, please if you can email this info, and I will call you to confirm.

Thank you and Dr. Epstein and Jon, great service you provide and highest level of communication skills in keeping your "clients" informed and willingness to extend a much well received welcoming.

Thanks,
M.D.

My Angel Roxy

It was wonderful to see you, Dr. E, Linda, and the rest of the staff as well.  I am absolutely amazed at how terrific you look, girl!  You keep it up!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new procedure will greatly increase my regrowth factor.  I am hoping that the new hairs don't fall out at all.  That would be my miracle and dream come true I will continue to sing the praises of Dr. E.  I firmly believe that some day I will wake up with the beautiful brows I have always dreamed of....for good.  I have the phenomenal Dr. E and staff to thank for that, and there are no words to describe how grateful I am for all that you guys have done for me.

I love you, Roxy!!   : )   Say hi to everyone for me.  I'll be in touch and will send pics.

Anita

I hope you're having a great day. I know I am! I e-mailed Jon earlier- he gave me a lot of information in that regard. (He's always so thorough - I like that!)

At any rate, Dr., I just want to let YOU know that I am incredibly pleased with your work and artistry. You, Jon and your staff were a delight from beginning to end. The procedure was painless, even fun, and here I am two days later looking at what promises to be a great head of hair. Thank you so much! I've already recommended you to a couple of friends who inquired about the procedure when they found out that I was getting a transplant through my facebook site.

I will send photos as soon as I can. And I'll see you in a few weeks to have my sutures removed.

Once again, thank you so much for everything you did for me. I am very, very appreciative!

Sincerely,
Nicky

First off I would really like to thank you for taking the time to see to me. I found the experience to be very comfortable and very professional. I have seen many doctors over a ten year span and can easily say that my short visit to your office and with Dr. Epstein was by far the most pleasant that I have had. I left with complete confidence in Dr. Epstein and really enjoyed our conversation. I credit your office, your staff, and of course Dr. Epstein's ability to make a future patient feel so at ease.

Thank you.
-V-

Hi, Jeff,

Hope you're well, and that you have good ultimate frisbee weather!
I thought you might like to see how great this looks- I can't believe it!
all my best regards, and thanks to you and your fabulous office.

Craig says hi, as well.

Hi Roxy,

Thanks for following up! So far, so good. The scabs haven't started to come off yet, but it looks great so far. I'm trying to be extremely careful. I'm immensely grateful to Dr. Epstein and your entire staff for doing such an amazing job and offering me some new hope. Everyone was wonderful to work with. I'm really excited to see how the new hairs come in in a few months. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks a million!
Danielle

You are not only a great surgeon but a truly cool man. It struck me one night watching you, Jerry, Bob that you guys are truly the new vanguard in the profession. Ten years ago you guys and your techniques were relatively new. Now you set the bar for the profession.

Carol MCBeth-Borws

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I hope all is well with you. I apologize for sending pictures of my eyebrow result so late. You did my eyebrows 7 months ago. This picture show eyebrows at month 5. I apologize for not having a better picture.

I also attached a picture of my new granddaughter. I would like you to know that I am so excited and happy with the results. I can not tell you how confident I feel. People notice a difference, but cannot put their finger on it. You are the best. Please tell everyone I said hello. Thanks again.

Carol MCBeth

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Its coming up on my one year anniversary since my procedure and I'm not wanted you recognize that by reaching out to you and thinking you for the beautiful work you did on my eyebrow, and to let you know that my life has improved so much because of your help. The procedure is a miracle, and every day I wake up and look in the mirror and remember that. I also remember how grateful I am that you could help me. You are an amazing doctor and artist. Your work is truly PRICELESS!

Thank you again so much

Hello Melissa,

I have not heard from you in a while.  I was wondering if Fox News was going to air my segment?  I also wanted to let you know that my eyebrows have finally grown in and the results are amazing.  They look wonderful.  I can forward you all some after pictures if you would like.

This whole experience has changed my life and the way that I view myself.  The self confidence that I have is unbelievable!  The results are unbelievable!  To go from hardly no eyebrows to having a full set is amazing!  I saw that my before pictures are on the website and to see those it is hard to believe that less than a year ago I looked like that.

Please let me know if the segment will air.  I would love to see it.   If Fox news in my area would like to do a post procedure interview I would be willing.

Dr. Epstein is an amazing physician and what he and his staff did for me can not be describe in words.  Roxy of course it would not have been possible without your support and attentiveness to my needs.  Dr. Epstein you and all your caring staff took exceptional care of me during this whole journey.  I think that not only the exceptional care that you and your staff provide but also the relationship that you strive to have with you patients is one of a kind!  I have and will continue to let everyone I meet know about the wonderful services you and your staff provide that sets you a part from any other physician, and being a nurse I know this.

Thank you all very much!!

Jody

Dear Dr. Epstein & Staff,

Please accept this small token of my appreciation, as I can't thank you enough for the excellent care that I received.

Somehow you have managed a most difficult task. You have all mastered the art of kindness and courtesy, all the while maintaining the utmost manner of professionalism. Yet, you do this in such a warm and nurturing environment. Kudos to you all!

With my sincere gratitude, I thank you again.

Best Regards,
Annie T.

Hi Roxy,

I was at your Miami office last October for new brows. I was completely thrilled with them once they grew in this Spring. Please tell Dr. Epstein for me that they are beautiful and I feel so happy with them!

I was wondering if I could get a quote to fill in a few patches?
There are two places on each inside corner and one almost to the middle of my left brow (the right if you are facing me).

If not, they still look great, the picture doesn't show how nice they really look. It would just be quicker and easier to put on the make- up and be easier to go natural with the patches filled in. Thank you!

CP

To Dr. Epstein,

Thank you! I thank Roxy, Cindy, Linda, Carlos, and all your staff. For me, all of you are so special and very good professionals. God bless you and your hands...

Lourdes C.

Hi Roxy,

I'll send pictures over the weekend. I can't tell you how many compliments I get! Hope all is well.

Roxy,

When I received your most recent email my heart leaps with joy! I am so happy, excited, grateful, etc, etc that I cannot begin to put it into words. There is nothing I can say that would  even come close to letting you and Dr. Epstein know how thankful I am to you both.

Thank you so much for being so nice and caring each time I have spoken with you. Up until the first time I discussed my situation with you, I had NEVER told anyone about how I felt about myself and my "problem." NO ONE. You immediately put me at ease and lifted all embarrassment.

Please tell Dr. Epstein that I am so appreciative of his willingness to perform his art.

You and Dr. Epstein are both angels.

Thank you again.
Bethany D.

Wow.  I have gotten so used to the "after" that I have mentally blocked the "before".  Thank you, Dr. Epstein!!!  You are an artist.  :-)

Bonnie

Hi Dr. Jeff,

Wish you could see how great my hair looks.  It's starting to look like it did years ago.  I guess it takes time for everything to settle down after a transplant!

Regards,  Judy

Hi!  My eyebrows are falling out and growing back.  I am using a bit of Maybelline but it only takes me 32 seconds instead of 5 minutes.  Life is good in the eyebrow department.  I will send a photo soon. Tons of love and hugs to you all! Laurie

My hair looks spectacular--it's even improved over the past months and now my hair looks as it did originally.  Thanks to you, I'm so glad I went ahead and did it!!!

Love, Judy

Roxy,
I would like to help Dr. Epstein (and his staff by the same token) in any way I can because my conviction is that he has truly changed my life and I would like him to be rewarded for that. I can wear my hair any way I want to now and a bad hair day does not give me any discomfort anymore. I don't try to hide my forehead anymore and I feel gorgeous. It is my opinion that Dr. Epstein deserves endless credit for that and please tell him to feel free to contact me anytime to talk to his patients. I will always be there for him in that way.

I am sure that thousands of women out there feel their forehead is too large and I believe they should all save their money and come to Dr. Epstein. Not only is he talented, but very understanding, very honest, and very fair. I will be waiting to hear from this woman. What is her first name? Have you shown her my before and after pictures? If so, what does she think?

Best regards to everyone!
Cecile

PS. Hope all went well with you guys during the hurricanes. Fortunately, I was out of town for business. Take care Roxy.

I am so so grateful that I was your patient. As a woman, losing hair is terrible.  With all of my new hair, my husband and I are both so pleased with everything you  have done for me.

You were a last resort, after losing so much hair from polycystic ovarian syndrome. One procedure later, I have so much more hair where it counts most- up top, where people can see it. My gynecologist and endocrinologist are both very impressed, and it's all thanks to you Dr. Epstein. I can't thank you enough.

It works!  And I couldn't be more pleased and amazed at the results.  Although I was thrilled with my new look immediately, within weeks I did lose what seemed like all of my little sprouts.  I wasn't fully prepared for that, and I began to wonder if maybe for me it wasn't going to work.  But...in September just like magic, every single implant began to sprout and grow, and today my guess is that 100% of them are alive and well - each now being about 2" long and growing.  I remember in my consultation with Dr. Epstein, I asked if there was any chance that it wouldn't work, and he smiled and simply stated "Oh, it works".  Well, he was right and I wish him all the success in both his practice and in creating the same magic for others.  Cynthia

Hi Roxy, Do you guys have a nice roof I could use? So I can yell off the top of my lungs that Dr. Epstein is the best surgeon in the world? So far so good.  Have a wonderful day.  Please say hello to everyone.

Thank you.Cecile

Hi Roxy!!  Can you see the HUGE smile on my face?!!  I'm so ecstatic I could cry and I can't stop looking at my brows!

I want to thank you, Dr. Epstein and his entire staff for everything you did.  >From the moment I walked into the office I felt comfortable and I was totally confident that I had made the right decision.  Dr. Epstein and his staff are phenomenal at what they do.  And you, dear sweet lady, are right up there at the top of my list as the nicest, most wonderful person I've ever had the pleasure to know.  It takes a very special person to do what you do, Roxy, and I am blessed to have met you for you truly are an angel.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please let everyone know how very thankful I am for what they did for me.  Words can't express my gratitude and I will never forget what wonderful people all of you are.

I'll stay in touch and I'll be sure to send pictures a few months down the road.  Thanks again!!

Oh, and yes.....if anyone ever asks for a reference you certainly may give them my e-mail address.  I want to shout out to the world what great people all of you are and what a phenomenal job Dr. Epstein and his staff did on my brows!!!

Anita

I am back in New York and am feeling great so far... I love the way my eyebrows look and I believe this will change my life in ways that you might never understand. I just want you to know how grateful I am, and that i think you are a wonderful doctor and a fantastic artist. I am happy to attest this to anyone who is considering a procedure. Thank you is an understatement. My eyebrows look better than I ever hoped for. I was unsure what to expect and was a little scared but everything about this experience exceeded all I had ever hoped for.

My sincerest gratitude,

Kate

Hi Dr. Epstein!

Thank you so much for your response. As you probably could guess I had been a little on edge given my previous two transplant results weren't as successful as I would have hoped. However, I do see growth and  remain positive and continue to monitor the results for the next few months and keep you updated on the progress.

If I don't speak with you before the end of the year...here's to an early Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Thank you again and please say hello to all the great people in your office!

Sincerely,

Lisa

Dear Dr. Epstein, Roxy and the staff,   (warning: kinda long e-mail, take bathroom breaks if you need to)

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for providing such a FABULOUS TOP-NOTCH brow transplant surgery.  After the Valium and swelling went down, I was able to get a more accurate assessment of the implant when I looked into the lighted-up magnified mirror at home.  It revealed even more of your innate aesthetic and scientific capabilities.  Where art meets science: that's what makes a top-notch plastic surgeon.  But I knew this based on your overwhelmingly impressive background.  I contacted 5 other surgeons, even one in  Beverly Hills of all places, and I knew that I'd chosen the right one.  The 6th time's a charm in this case.  I remember checking your site half a year ago, and there was some mention of how you played the violin for years.  I can't seem to find it on the site now.  That drew me in even more as it shows the natural dexterity of your fingers to enhance the implantation.  Didn't hurt that you're easy on the eyes, too, haha.  A true Renaissance man just like my favorite artist, Leonardo da Vinci.

The staff was incredible.  Everyone was very sweet and professional, and I felt very welcomed.  The implanters did an excellent job, having my hand held relaxed me quite a bit, etc, etc.  I stayed quiet for the most part so everyone could concentrate, but I do realize that because you've all had so much experience on this, you can all do it in your sleep;o).  I joked with Roxy about coming back and getting a hotel (er, hostel) on South Beach for everyone over Christmas break. Or was I joking;-)?  Maybe after I finish school and pay back Uncle Sam, haha.

The procedure was painless for the most part.  When I had my brows tattooed on, that was some real pain that only a sadist would enjoy;o)  I looked like Groucho Marx on crack for days and the end result wasn't that much better.  However, after the implantation, on the plane ride back, I looked like a Golden Retriever (the puffy eyes) but puppy dogs are much cuter than Groucho Marx so I'll take that any day.  A couple days later, it looked like I had pretty golden yellow eye shadow on and now I'm completely normal, relatively speaking;o).  I admit, I was a bit shocked at first and being in the wrong state of mind, I thought my brow shape was going to stay crescent-moon shaped and not the shape I was going for.  I just didn't realize they were that puffy and that was causing it.  I apologize for that.  I think the Florida sun fried my brain a bit (but no sunburn, at least!), oh, and hunger.

You have all exceeded my expectations (and mine were high!) for meticulously implanting each and every brow hair in the most natural angle that only Mother Nature could achieve.  The hairs blend in perfectly as if my own genetic code had designed them for my particular facial structure. The only way I can really tell which ones are mine is based on the fact that I have to use hairspray to keep the real ones in place.  And the ones that were obviously not there in the first place.  Mainly at the base and at the tail.  Most of my real hairs are slightly thinner but one can only tell under the microscope.  But of course, brow hairs and head hair are different from one another in terms of thickness.  Well, mine are, at least.

I noticed that on the right brow, you had designed for a few to be placed above my brow line.  Not only did that add more symmetry to my face, but it opened up my eye area, adding a lift after tweezing a slight amount under the right brow.  I won't need botox for a few years, jk;o).  The brow hairs along the "tails" were a bit short, but now they've already grown enough to lay flat and natural (ie, don't stick out at a crazy angle that some other doctors tend to do).

With the implanted hairs, they stay in the right direction and I WAKE UP with these brows in place (given that I've slept on my back, of course).  No, wait...I now wake up with a full set of nicely shaped REAL eyebrows for the first time in my life!  A somewhat good analogy for what this means to me would be like having gone through life without an upper lip. Like a part of the facial bone structure is missing. It makes one realize that eyebrows are just as important as the eyes, the lips or the mouth.  Otherwise, a person looks blank and expressionless and asymmetrical.  Not the most attractive sight.

What amazes me the most is that this surgery occurred only a few days ago, and I'm already ecstatic with the results.  Not only with the physical results but the PSYCHOLOGICAL results as well. And that's what it really comes down to. (Ok, now I'm crying, lol...which happened yesterday, too...after the Valium, puffiness and initial shock wore off, I was able to get in touch with my feelings).

What these brows have added to my life is BALANCE. Not having that anxiety and insecurity when talking to someone under the bright sunlight and them wondering why my brows are blue or partially missing. Not spending 15+/- minutes JUST on my brows alone to make them as natural looking as possible. Achieving the natural look is so high-maintenance, what an oxymoron, hehe. I commented to Roxy that this procedure would change my life. It may sound a tad bit dramatic, especially to someone who was born with full brows and takes it for granted or a person void of an aesthetically sensitive eye (or is that vanity? no, no!).  But yes, this has and will be life-altering as I gain the CONFIDENCE to welcome new adventures into my life.

Here in Oregon , we love our rock climbing and camping and other very outdoorsy activities.  I was always too self-conscious to engage in anything that would cause my brows to come off and would spend most of my time indoors (bar scene getting way too old).  The blue eyebrows took a psychological toll more than I had realized. I'm already visualizing all the things that I want to take up like scuba diving, surfing, just being SPONTANEOUS and living a more adventurous, outdoorsy and active life. Although I must admit, not doing those things have caused me to focus more on the academic aspect of my life so that's one good thing I got out of it. Ah, and less wrinkles. Seven years down, 4 more to go.  But why not both?  Now I can get my studying in and dash right out the door to go swimming and throw that insecurity and vanity out the window. Just throw on my mascara and powder and go! No more 20-60 min routine! Now it's under 5 minutes, if that, to put on my "face" for class. Wow, you've helped me with my time-management skills, too and that's very important to a goal-oriented person who wants to look nice at the same time but doesn't want to spend too much time working on it. Semi-permanent lash extensions might be next, but that's it.  I already spoke with a Seattle doctor about permanent ones, and he said it was a bad idea.  He's also the one who recommended you and Limmer.

Anyways, this e-mail is a bit long and you are a busy doctor with a busy staff (which is a very good indication, esp for business:o), and I feel like I'm writing in my diary. But this is a great way to get my point across as to how I have been feeling since the procedure. Any balding customers walking into my future pharmacy asking about Propecia or Rogaine, I would surely recommend you and your staff. I'll recommend any browless friends of mine suffering from tacky porn star-esque eyebrow makeup. Not only do they get a hair transplant surgeon but also a shrink at the same time who doesn't need to hand out the Paxil to alleviate the anxiety of having no hair;o).

Heck, I will do it on your incredibly thorough website!  I authorize you to use my eyebrow pics as long as my face isn't shown.  From right below my brows to my hairline is fair game. Because a picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to plastic surgery, I really would like to show everyone the incredible end results. The pics REALLY won me over and that's what it boils down to. And if you would like to publish my letter, you are more than welcome to as long as it's my initials S.P or maybe switched around to P.S. You can censor it, too (ie, take paragraphs out).  I tend to be a bit tongue-in-cheek at times so if there's anything off-color, I understand.  Happens when you grow up with 3 older brothers ;o)

I have a webcam, but I'm not sure if it would show the brows all too clearly. But in a few months, when the masterpiece is complete, I'll send you a picture. I was thinking about coming back to S.Beach for Christmas break, but it looks like we all agreed on ringing in the New Year in Vegas. Will follow up on that. Well, I'll be back eventually and I'd love for everyone to see them in person and appreciate their hard work and what it's done for me. Once again, THANK YOU from the bottom of my happy heart!  And like I had said in the operating room, "the world recommends you." I now personally know that it is true, and the only thing I regret is not having met you and the staff much much sooner...like when I was in middle school;o)

Sincerely,

S.

P.S.  Take a short break and smell the flowers (the ones I sent to ring in the Autumn season which is what we Oregonians actually have...ahhh, I want to go back to beautiful, WARM Miami as I am in a sweatshirt right now). The last implanter asked about the tattoo remover I'm using: it's called Tat Be Gone and the ratings indicate that it works very well.

Dear Roxy and Dr Epstein,

I am just sending you both a message to say that i arrived safely back in the United Kingdom last Friday morning after a long flight.

Everybody thinks my implants look great and are very impressed with the quality of Dr Epstein's work. So far only one hair has fallen out but i have not actually washed my face yet as i am so scared that they will all fall out. Hi Dr. Epstein,

Just a quick note to say hello, and to give my sincerest thanks to you and your wonderful staff for the positive experience you all made my procedure.  I was confident in you and your abilities from the moment I met you and thank you for that, as you made a difficult decision a snap!

My family came over last night after my mom and I arrived from Florida and are so impressed with you and your artistry.  I can't tell you how much we all appreciate what you've done and how comfortable I felt; from beginning to end.  If you hear your ears ringing, it may be due to us all singing your praises!

I can't wait until my little ?Chia pet? begins to grow!  J  I'll keep you posted and will send photos.

Happy thanksgiving and kindest regards,
Lisa

Dear Jeff,

This is Dee, who had a hair transplant on Monday, and perlane on Tuesday.

I wanted to thank you for your excellent work and great workers of course, but also for the interesting interchanges we had during the course of the day. We communicated unusually well for not knowing each other

- it was refreshingly honest and heartfelt.

Thanks again,
dee

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I can't thank you and your staff enough for everything you have done for me. Susie has done an awesome job at answering my questions. I will send follow up pictures as soon as I am all done up. Thanks again.

Hi Jeff, We're back in Italy and all is well. Just a little soreness from the graft donor site while the areas that have been transplanted are healing up nicely. Thanks again to you and your entire staff for the kindness and the professionalism. If you ever come out this way please let us know. We'll be more than happy to show you around our part of Italy. Ciao and we'll be in touch. Giancarlo

Dr. Epstein, Hope all is well in Miami. Tomorrow marks the 9th month (dos July 11th, 2007) since my hair transplant. I have to tell you the results are fantastic (better than I expected) and I couldn't be happier. People constantly commenting on my hair, wondering if I colored it or something is different. Anyway, one of the best decisions I've ever made and really appreciate the excellent job you did. Thanks again. Sincerely,

Van A

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Here is an update for hair transplant surgery I had in November, 2007. I am pleased to report that the sideburns are completely grown in and growing at a normal rate; all scars are covered. The temporal areas are perfect and so natural looking. The frontal hairline is growing but at a slower rate and with some itching. Overall, I am thrilled to have a hairline that is such an improvement over the unnatural one I started with. I wish women could be warned about the drastic hairline changes that plastic surgery can inflict. Although most plastic surgeons don't practice such drastic procedures anymore, many still do and it is so disappointing for the patient. When I see Dr. Ridenour in Creve Couer, MO in May I will ask him to forward some updated photos for you. A big thank you to you and your staff for my great new hairline. I will be wearing my hair back at the beach this summer and not hiding under a hat!

Sincerely,

Connie Frazier

Hello Dr Epstein,

I wanted to thank you for all your help. I thank you for helping me make one of the most important decisions in my life and I am truly grateful. I know I have a long wait ahead but I am glad that it started off so well. I will keep you posted about my progress.
Thank you once again.

Neha.

Hello Roxy and Staff,

Just wanted to thank you and Dr. Epstein for all your expertise, great care, and artistry regarding my recent transplant procedure. My eyebrows look great and are healing nicely. Everyone is amazed at the symmetry and density of the brow lines.

The swelling has been minimal and the bruising almost non-existent. Graft and donor areas all look good, too.

Thanks in advance for any answers you might have regarding my recovery. Of course, I will send pictures regarding my progress.

Dr. Epstein, Roxy, Linda and staff are a class act!!

Hi Roxy,

Today is Day 6 of my recovery and I just wanted to let you know that--despite my incredibly LOW tolerance for pain--my eyebrows are GORGEOUS (scabby and all!)!!! I don't know think I've ever seen such perfect brows on anyone...and now they're MINE!!

So happy!!

You have such an AMAZING group of gals there! I am so thankful for everyone's kindness and great sense of humor! Dr. Epstein is such a talented man! He really does have a unique artistic ability and eye for detail. I'm so so so happy that I found him.

You are a doll! Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and brave! I appreciate you, Roxy!

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Greeting from Kauai, so nice to be home. Hope all is going well with you.
Sorry to have missed you in New York-was swamped with work. Attempting to do a masters in Chemistry over summer breaks is rather difficult.
I don't have to go back to the university next summer-just working on the writing the final draft. All of my lab work is done-what a relief.
Sent you some rather low quality photos..sorry about that.
The hair transplant has been very successful. I can't even really express what a difference it has made in my life when you did the transplants. The emotional distress when I thought I would actually have no hair around my face- it seemed a progressive hair loss condition. Family and friends can't believe it when I tell them that my hair around my face is transplanted hair. So THANK YOU again and it is exciting to me that you are doing more procedures. I know your probably super busy but would look forward to a consultation (if possible?)-via email or phone.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Allison

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I hope this e-mail reaches you doing great! I'm doing very well and enjoying my new hair immensely.
I'm interested in getting a second procedure done, to kind of fill in the blanks and thicken things up a bit. What are your thoughts?
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Lisa

Dr Epstein,

My eyebrows have started miraculously to grow back, or, most likely, due to your great surgery, the right one especially has filled out considerably. I still have a gap in the left one, but I think this will hopefully also fill in with time.

Thanks and best regards
Anita

Dr. Jeff

This procedure accomplished exactly what I was after, and changed my life for the better. I love it, and think it's perfect.

I could tell you how much this has done for my self-confidence but then I imagine you knew that would happen. What a lucky guy you are to have such an impact on so many lives. Thanks again to you and your staff for the kindness and the extra effort they all made. I never once felt uncomfortable and for me that's saying a lot.

I just wanted to ask you to pass my sincere thanks on to all the girls at your surgery for how well they treated me before, during and after my procedure. It was something that I was nervous, anxious and slightly embarrassed about embarking on but they put me totally at ease and made the experience as tolerable as possible.

Kind regards
Dan

Hi Maureen,

Thanks for the support. I guess I will see you in about 9 months when I meet with Dr. Epstein for my follow up appointment. I know my hair will grow slow (my hair grows about 1/3 of an inch a month) but I am so happy it's over and that Dr. Epstein gave me the opportunity to be more self-confident, prettier, and able to do many activities that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing otherwise (rainy days, swimming, going out in windy days..and activities such as- roller coasters, bungee jumping, sky-diving..being able to finally open up completely to a guy and feel that he won't judge/reject me..once my hair ffinally grows in). I feel like most of the weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I can't wait to see the results! (you're more than welcome to forward this to Dr. Epstein if you would like)

Sincerely,
Emma L

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Thanks, I had a good trip back and I had a really good experience at your office in Miami. Everybody was so nice and did a great job! It feels tight in the donor area. I don't know if this is to be expected and if I just should give it some time?

Besides that I'm just excited for my new hair to grow out and I hope that it will be dense. Again, thank you so much! I will keep in touch and let you know how it goes.

Best wishes,
Malene
