After a reconstructive scalp surgery procedure performed pro bono by Dr. Epstein on this eight year old. She was burned as a one year old, and lived with the scalp scars until she underwent a tissue expansion surgery that allowed for the removal of over half of her scarred scalp. She has now undergone a second pro bono procedure of hair grafts to restore the hairline, and is set to undergo one more tissue expansion surgery.
