The LaserCap is an innovative low-level laser device designed for at-home medical management of hair loss. The LaserCap is shaped like a dome and fits comfortably and discreetly in almost any hat. It is easy to use, hands-free and completely portable. Powered by a small belt-clip battery pack, the LaserCap can be worn just about anywhere: at home, in the car, at the office, even while walking or jogging.

The LaserCap contains 224 low-level true lasers for both maximum efficacy and hair and scalp coverage. It is designed to target the entire treatment area throughout the treatment session and is typically worn every other day for one half-hour. The powerpack can be charged with a standard wall outlet.

The LaserCap offers the same effectiveness of low-level laser light treatments performed in the clinical setting, but with the convenience of a portable, at-home design. It is also compatible with other hair loss treatments such as Finasteride (Propecia) and Minoxidil (Rogaine), and it can be used in individuals who have had a hair transplant though patients should first consult with their surgeon.  The LaserCap is effective in both men and women. In as early as sixty days, patients may experience thicker, fuller, healthier hair.

Lower level laser light therapy combats hair loss by stimulating and preserving the hair follicles in individuals with female pattern and other hair loss disorders. It has been shown to significantly slow and stop the progression of hair loss and has even been shown to increase hair density in some patients. The LaserCap is currently in pre-clinical studies in preparation for FDA review.
