Question:
I have debating between FUT and FUE hair transplant techniques for some time now. My only real concerns like many men it seems is how visible the scar will be with FUT. My question is how short can I wear my hair after an FUT procedure without the scar being visible?
Answer:
Generally speaking, if the hair is over 1 cm in length you should have no trouble hiding an FUT procedure. However, everyone’s hair lays differently. For instance, if you are of Asian descent and the hair stands straight out from your scalp, it may be more difficult to hide with short hair than someone whose hair lays flat down. But generally speaking, I tell people if their hair is 1 cm to 2 cm there should be no trouble hiding the scar from an FUT procedure.
